Vaginal Rejuvenation
Vaginal PRP rejuvenation comprises the injection of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the upper wall of the vagina and clitoris, triggering stem cells’ multiplication and “younger” tissue growth. Growth Factors released from the activated PRP, promote collagen and elastin production inside the vagina and around the clitoris, causing its expansion due to tissue thickening, leading to easier stimulation, sexual enhancement and improved vaginal hydration.

How does it work?
The in-office procedure starts with a simple blood draw from the patient's arm. Platelets and growth factors are separated to create PRP. After applying a numbing cream to the vagina, a very thin needle is used to inject the PRP near the clitoris and the upper area of the vagina that is most important for sexual pleasure. The entire process takes about 20 minutes and women experience little to no discomfort. Patients experience the benefit almost immediately with full rejuvenation benefit after about 3 months.
Does it hurt?
Although it might sound painful, you’d be surprised at how painless this procedure really is. You can expect to feel a prick or even a sting but no more than that. After your procedure, you will be provided with a numbing cream to relieve any swelling and make your experience even more comfortable.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions can vary depending on the patient and their goals. Most patients will have a session every 18 months.
Directly after treatment, there is an immediate volumizing effect that lasts for about a week. Other results should be noticeable after 4-6 weeks and should peak at around 6 weeks to 3 months. Some women may opt for a second result at 8 weeks to optimize their results.
How safe is this procedure?
Due to the potency and efficiency of PRP, it has a long, safe track record in other medical fields including oral healthcare, sports medicine and orthopedics. With respect to aesthetic medicine and vaginal rejuvenation, it produces satisfying results for clitoral enhancement, vaginal tightening and reduction of stress urinary incontinence.
